Update 8-17-23
Bookings will begin Sept. 2nd at 7AM for the 2024 River Trip
Starting this year, the deadline to cancel and still get a refund on all
bookings from Day Passes to Cabins with be June 1st!
Update 6-16-23
***FINAL
RIVER TRIP UPDATE***
This should be
the final update post for this year’s river trip. I know there has been a lot of info for everyone to take in and I
thank you all for putting up with my micromanaging. I just wanted everyone to be informed about everything to help make everything
run as smoothly as possible for use and you.
So, with that
being said TODAY (June 16th) is the deadline to cancel Event or Day Passes and still get a refund, they are not transferable
either!
After tomorrow
night you will not be able to purchase Event or Day Passes online. You will still be able to purchase them when you arrive
at the campground’s gate office, but the prices will be increased. We would prefer cash at the gate (there is an ATM
at the main office), but also understand that might sometimes not be possible so we will have a way to run a credit card with
a 10% processing fee.
I try my very
best to make sure all the check in lists are completely accurate, but being human I might make a mistake or 2. So, please
have your email receipt handy at check in. You should be able to find it by searching Square in you email manager. If you
can’t find it or it was deleted, get with me before Monday and I should be able to resend it or send you a screen shot
of it. At the worst I can look it up on my laptop at the gate office when you arrive.
Remember, Mike
has final say on all things RV! Do not argue with him or you might just find yourself headed back home!!! If you have a loud
generator, please bring an extra table or something to deflect the noise away from your neighbors.
Tent campers…Please
do your best to keep your site’s foot print to 20’X20’ or under. This is how we ensure we do not run out
of tent camping space. Also, remember that only whisper quiet inverter/generators are allowed in the tent camping areas. Do
not attempt to run an AC, fridge, freezer, or electric cooking device on the tent camping site’s electrical outlets.
If it matters to you enough to have an AC in your tent, it should matter to you enough to have the appropriate generator to
power it!!! If these Items are found and the circuit breakers trip you will move them back to your vehicle for the remainder
of the trip no exceptions…
I can’t
wait to see everyone and hope everyone has an amazing time! C-Ya at the River!!!
Update 6-14-23
I have put together a list of important information everyone needs to know for the River Trip.
Please read over all of it as there are some changes for this year you should be aware of....Thanks

Update 6-8-23
Ok, the link to
get a Rental Tent is up.
These guys are
offering a bunch of different tent styles and sizes that will hold more then just 2 people and unlike they other quys we had
been using there is no extra charge for more then 2 people. Each tent comes with a Queen air bed, 2 chairs and a light (does
not include pillows or bedding). So, if you do have more then 2 people in the tent the extra people will need to provide their
own bed, bedding, and chairs.
They are also
offing a Glamping Bundle addon that includes 2 Queen beds instead of just one, pillows & bedding for both beds, 2 lights,
a couple fans, and a few more extras.
Keep in mind that
the rental tents, like all tent camping, will have shared electric access. No ACs unless you bring your own whisper quiet
inverter/generator to power it. The tents will be located in the tent camping area behind the main bath house of the Mountain
Breeze Campground.
Rental tents will
be set up by Thursday morning but DO NOT include event passes, you will need to purchase those separately for the days you
will be attending.
Here is the link
to purchase the tent rentals and glamping bundle but you can also find the link on the KOS’s River Trip website.
Update 5-31-23
I have 2 things i want to clear up...
One, I know there a lot of you saying tent camping is a no go. But, with us having the entire campground we allow whisper
quiet generator/inverters in the tent camping area. Honestly, you could pick up the small Predator from Harbor Freight and
small AC for less then renting or bringing a RV and paying for a RV site & way less then renting a cabin. As a matter
of fact they are on sale through tomorrow!
Two, tubes are not included this year with your event passes. With all the price increases that both campground put on
us it just wasn't in the budget. So, if you want to float you will need to rent tubes from the campground directly for any
day you are wanting to float. They will still transport your own equipment but they charge the same price to do that as they
do for renting their tubes.
Update 5-24-23
I have tried to contact the company that provides our Tent Renal service several times with no reply. So, for not that
service will not be offered this year. If anything changes I will update here, the main KOS site, and the Facebook Member's
Area Group.
Update 4-9-23
Sorry, but tube rental for the Saturday float will not be included in the price this year. You must rent tubes from Mountain
Breeze directly.
Update 9-9-22
We are now offering AfterPay on all of our River Trip options!
I would suggest if you intend on using AfterPay to book your RV site or cabin to go to there website https://www.afterpay.com/en-US before Sept 12th and sign up. If it's anything like last year everything will go fast and you don't want to have to
go through the approval process while your trying to book.
Update 9-4-22
We will begin taking bookings for the 2023 trip starting at 7AM Monday Sept. 12th!!!
Update 9-4-22
Everyone will need to check in at the main gate (1st entrance) when they arrive. They will find the name used to purchase your event passes, rv site, or cabin online and give
you wristbands. If you have a Cabin they will direct you where you need to go. If you have a RV site you will need to be escorted by
a KOS staff member so they can direct you to your proper site.
You DO NOT need to call the campgrounds this might confuse them and you could end up getting
wrong information. You can contact us on the contact page or call Bubba at 936-718-6656 if you have any questions or concerns.
If you arrive early in the morning or late at night and no one is at the main gate, please use the provided radio
to call a KOS staff member to assist you before setting up your camp or rv site.
Update 9-4-22
The $85 per person "Early Bird" event pass price ends April 1st. After that date the event pass price
will increases to $95 per person!
Update 9-4-22
We have finally reached an official policy for those not camping (staying at a hotel or off site cabin).
Day Passes are per person:
Fri or Sat ONLY (or any single day)...$30
Fri & Sat...$50
Thur-Sat...$60
Wed-Sat...$70
By getting your Day Pass you will not have to leave the party early like in years past, you can stay until
2AM. So this means everyone must check in at the main gate to get your wristbands!
Update 9-3-22
Event Passes - Remember that you need to buy your event passes online before Sun. June 19th. After that date you
will have to pay CASH at the campground when you arrive and the price will be increased by $10 per person.
RV Parking - (E/W Sites) RV's are parked at there site in a way that ensures we can get everyone in the easiest
possible way. If not it could end up being like the mother of all slide puzzles and we just don't have time for that kind
of headache!
(Dry Sites) For the most part you will be backing into the next available spot along the wooden fence line unless you have
already been predetermined to park else wear depending on OUR needs.
Mike has FINAL say on where you will be parked. This system has been working for us for years and will not change!
I do not argue with Mike and you will not either! Keep in mind we have to worry about the many and can't focus on the
few.
Cabin - Once you check in at the campground we will give you the appropriate key and cabin #. Remember
you will need to bring your own pillows, full size sheets, and bedding.
***No matter if you are tent camping, have a rv site, cabin or just a day pass you have to check in at the front
gate office when you arrive. If you have a rv site we will call Mike on the radio, wait for him to show you where to
park.***
Update 6-8-22
We will have a double water slide set up in the new RV area! And, for as long as the soap lasts....the foam cannon shooting
onto it!!!
Update 6-7-22
New interactive map of our event at Mountain Breeze Campground!
Update 5-31-22
The band White Trash Wannabees will be playing at the "Office Stage" Thursday night!!!
Update 5-8-22
We know you ladies love to go topless and we love to see it too! But, if you choose to ditch your top while exploring
the campground you will need to wear pasties. We do have the entire campground this year as most already know but Mountain
Breeze will still be running there outfitters business. So, there will still be "Day Trippers" being shuttled to and from
the river. A couple of the vendors onsite will be selling them if you need some!
Update 1-25-22
The Rent-A-Tent option is now open for bookings.
Update 1-5-22
WE WILL HAVE THE ENTIRE CAMPGROUND THIS YEAR!!!
Also, they are adding an additional 28 Electric/Water RV Sites! Details coming soon!!!
Update 2-19-21
We have added links to cabins and RV sites near Mountain Breeze on our Lodging page!
We hope this helps those who may have missed out on booking a cabin or RV site at Mountain Breeze.
Update 5-12-20
Many have asked if this year's river trip is still moving forward. The answer is YES! If the campground will be open the
KOS will be there.
As of right now I do not foresee any reason we will have to cancel.
We may have to implement some changes in the trip but for now I do not know of any changes we may need to make.
Update 1-17-20

the key items need to for camping. They will set up everything and tear everything down. All you have to

NEW Updated Mountain Breeze Campground Map
Update 2-12-19
We are steering way from paying when you arrive. You need to purchase your event passes online before the Wed. June 19th.
The name on your payment will be what you will check in under at the campground's office when you arrive. The price for event
passes will be increased by $10 per person for anyone having to be wrote in and paying at the campground's
office.
Update 2-8-19
NEW FOR 2019!...Full Hook Up Sites &
Cabins !!!
We have added full hook up RV sites and Cabins! There are different price points for each
and can be reserved here.
Update 6-17-18
If you are tent
camping please try to keep your foot print at the size of a large tent and 1- 10x10 pop up...roughly an area of about 10'x20'.
We have added more tent space this year but if we do start to run tight on space those of you with excessive equipment will
be the first to down size.
If you have a
RV spot please only take up the area allotted for your space (between the lines). We ask that you DO NOT park in front of
your camper or set up tents, pop ups, ect in front of your camper in the field area. We need to keep that area clear for traffic
coming in and out, if an emergency occurs we need to be able to get those vehicles through.
Update
1-19-18
Official Day Pass Policy...(As of 2-7-19)
No, sorry there is not. Everyone who attends will need to purchase
Event Passes to gain entry Fri & Sat.
Rules for Golf Carts...
I have been asked by a lot of people about golf carts and are they allowed at the
campground. Yes but only EZ-Go style golf carts....NO! Razors (side by sides) or ATVs of any kind are allowed!!! Also, there
are a few rules for golf carts:
-
There is no parking in the horse shoe area! In the past we have had problems with
people parking there golf carts in front of the stairs and blocking people from being able to unload and set up camp. We ask
everyone to park their golf carts on top of the hill somewhere out of the way after unloading your cooler and passengers.
(KOS staff is the only carts allowed to park in this area)
-
NO golf carts will be allowed in or around the horse shoe area during any of
the contests! It seems every year we have someone cranking there stereos up and blocking the people trying to watch the contests.
We know some of you have put a lot of money into you golf carts and want to show it off but there is a time and place for
it....so please be respectful.
-
If you leave our area of the campground with your golf cart...ie...going to the showers,
the office, or watching the bands, the campground wants us to remind you that you can not block the roads in anyway and prefer
you park in a parking spot when possible.
I want to thank everyone for your cooperation!
Things To Remember!
Everyone MUST purchase an Event Pass.
It's always great to RSVP here on our site some people can see who is attending and where from!
Those attending but staying off-site (hotel, motel, lodge, private house) the campground does not offer a
day pass. The campground requires everyone who attends pay the same price whether you stay at the campground or
offsite. To come out and party with us Friday and Saturday you will need to purchase an Event Pass here on this
website.
EZ Go style golf carts are allowed at the campground. ATVs Are Not!
We strongly discourage the use of AC's in the lower tent camping areas. The circuits really
can't handle the load. This also includes fridges, or freezers of any kind (lights, fans, radios are ok). If
we start blowing breakers and one of those items are found you will be asked to remove them and store them in your vehicle
for the remainder of the trip. You can have those items in the upper tent camping area and the field area where
you can run a generator.
RV's will follow the parking guidelines unless special arrangements have already been made. (Refer below under
*ATTENTION* for guidelines.)
No nudity within the sight of the front office or in view of the people the campground is outfitting. The
River Trip is not a nudist event. So please stay covered when walking from the lower area to the upper field area, especially
during the day light hours.
You can not be nude in the river at any time! You can be topless as long as you are respectful
of families that may float by...cover up, turn away, or simply lower into the water so children can not see.
Absolutely NO SEX in the public waters of the Guadalupe River!!! That is includes oral sex! (This
should go without saying but...We have had to in the past.)
